Most often, the contractor builds the platform prior to stair installation. We treat it as a regular floor. In the shop, we simply build separate stair sections that are installed below and above the platform.

We are also able to build structural platforms if so required. Finish flooring is later applied by others. The platform is built much like the floor framing. It can be
a hanging, supported by posts or a stud wall variety.
