Flared Stair Assembly
In order to add more interest to what otherwise would be a straight staircase, some clients have us flare it. That is, one or both sides of the stair is curved just slightly. Space is often a consideration. Small foyer precludes building a grand curved stairway, for example. A few inch widening on the bottom of the stair may not take away crucial living space. But, it certainly adds
"flare" to the area.
